What
we offer?
The purpose of this web site is to promote British Columbia.
Why? We want foreign students to come and see Vancouver, Victoria and
other places. The shortest programme is one month. Also you
will have a good opportunity to stay with the host family.
Also, the English Language is spoken in British Columbia in two variantions:
BRITISH & AMERICAN. Only that, in our opinion makes it worth studying
in Vancouver.
There are several other options - 3 and 6 months prorgammes, and much
more! Well, it all depends on how long you wish to stay, i.e. on your
financial situation, etc. Besides Englsih You may be be studying business
disciplines like marketing, finances, etc.

1. Studying at ESL (English Second language) or College. Besides English
you may want to do business, finance & marketing.
2. Staying with a family (home-stay).
3. Tourism: adventure & eco. Hikings & BBQs, picnics. Field trips, excursions,
visiting museums & exhibitions, going to Victoria and Whistler (2010
Olympics). YUMICA has worked out its original guide material about
Vancouver, B.C. & Canada - it is unique, interesting and differs from
what you may hear elsewhere (!)
4. Healthy& ethnic food (Yumico),
delicious home-made wine - red & white. Read more

About YUMICA Adventures
to article
Now,
let me introduce myself, Mitch Grigori, and tell you about my experiences
in tourism, travels, and adventures. I can share quite a lot! For starters,
I’d say that I crossed the whole North America by car, driving all by
myself. Or, in 1991 – 1992 I had made more than eleven thousand kilometres
in China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan across mountain passes, the Karakumy
Dessert and the Caspian Sea. That trip I had split into two stages taking
in turn a train, a jeep, a minivan, and a ferryboat. I had even a chance
to get onto a Cessna plane to fly over the dying Sea of Aral.
I also experienced quite a number of smaller trips like going into the
gold-and coalmines, visiting the Space Centre near Moscow (unfortunately,
I didn't go into space). I can also mention this big voyage of mine,
when I was drifting in the fisher boat in the Pacific Ocean, or almost
fell victim of the radiation at the Chernobyl Nuclear Station more
